Large file transfers are supported. SFTPPlus MFT can upload individual files as large as 250 GB to SharePoint Online. This limit is imposed by SharePoint Online, not by SFTPPlus.

Process large source directories ​

SFTPPlus can transfer files from SharePoint Online source directories that contain more than 1,000 items. Source filters can ignore older files or files whose names do not match a configured glob or regular expression. This allows a transfer to select only the files required by a workflow, even when they share a document library with unrelated content.

Checking whether a SharePoint item should be ignored can require additional requests to Microsoft Graph. For better performance, keep the source directory as focused as practical instead of relying on filters to scan a large number of unneeded files.
