SFTPPlus Release 5.10.0

SFTPPlus version 5.10.0 is now available to all our customers.

The main defect fixes implemented in this release are:

• When a user with an active Purview API session logs out, SFTPPlus only ends the Purview API session associated with their web browser. In the previous version, when a user was logged out or a session expired, all Purview API sessions from all connected web browsers were logged out.
• When using operating system accounts through SFTPPlus in conjunction with the SFTP protocol and filesystems that can block, such as NFS, the main SFTPPlus process is no longer kept in the security context of an OS account for which the filesystem access was blocked by the operating system.

This release also introduces a few improvements and new features.

Self-extractable installers are now available for Linux and macOS. The self-extractable installers can be used for new installs as well as for updating an already existing installation of SFTPPlus.

All server-side account passwords stored in legacy plain-text format are now automatically converted to a secure hash format when starting SFTPPlus.
