Ethics and Export Control

Anti Bribery and Corruption

At Pro:Atria, whoever we may deal with, and wherever we may operate, we are committed to doing so lawfully, ethically, and with integrity (including compliance with the UK Bribery Act of 2010). As part of this commitment, all forms of bribery and corruption are unacceptable and will not be tolerated. This anti-bribery and corruption policy sets out our policies to prevent acts of bribery and corruption. These policies and procedures have been designed to comply with legislation governing bribery and corruption on a global basis.

This policy provides guidance on the standards of behaviour to which we must all adhere and most of these reflect the common sense and good business practices that we all work to in any event. This policy is designed to help you to identify when something is prohibited so that bribery and corruption is avoided, and provide you with help and guidance if you are unsure about whether there is a problem and you need further advice.

Exports

As part of its functionality in some packages, SFTPPlus contains software developed by the OpenSSL Project for use in the OpenSSL Toolkit; in other packages, it contains parts of the PyCrypto software. As such, together with the fact that our resources reside in countries subscribing to the Wassenaar Arrangement, our software is subject to export controls.

Because our software is subject to export control, it may only be transmitted, exported, or re-exported under applicable export laws and restrictions and regulations of the United States Bureau of Industry and Security or other foreign agencies or authorities. By downloading or using the software, you agree to comply with export controls.

This software may not be downloaded or otherwise exported or re-exported to any country subject to U.S. trade sanctions governing the software. No formal export license is required for SFTPPlus, downloading and using the software implies complying to export controls and legal usage accordingly. We reserve the right not to partner with any party on humanitarian grounds (we do not discriminate based on age, race, income, sexual orientation, sexual preference, gender, or gender identity).
